"When I was 14, I smashed my tennis racket after losing a key point in an important match.
I was frustrated—and everyone could see it. After the match, my dad pulled me aside and made it clear:
if I couldn't control my emotions, I wouldn't be playing tennis anymore. That moment stuck with me,
and it changed the way I approached my game and my life. I've been playing tennis now for 18 years.
I believe tennis is more than just a sport—it's one of the best ways to build discipline, resilience,
and confidence. Learning to compete, handle pressure, and stay composed are skills that carry far beyond the court.
I'm proud to be coaching the next generation of players in Cache Valley and helping them develop skills they'll carry for life."
